Bermuda, Bahama . . .

...C'mon pretty mama! Last week we went to Bermuda - the island that is shaped like a hook and welcomes airport arrivals with the slogan, "Feel the Love." We were in Southampton which is on the outer edge of where the hook begins to curve.

Reports from our scuba diving friends say there are heaps of sunken ships all around the island although there were no Black Pearl sightings. And, while he's certainly no Jack Sparrow, Captain Mike from our hotel did get us safely from point A to B.

Our Bermuda photo album is brief but there are a few nice pics of the beautiful blue water, colorful blue houses, fantastic cloud formations, and limestone tiered rooves that help Bermudians gather rain water.

This the beach at our hotel, next door to the Horseshoe Bay. I stayed pretty close to the shore when I overheard a snorkler say they saw an eel over by the rocks - I won't eat them and I don't want to swim with them either, thank you very much!

G2 - we'll all be anxiously awaiting your pics from Patagonia!
