Freezing Fours

I can hardly remember a time when the weather was more indecisive than it was tonight. It-was freezing, wet & dry and windy. Despite the weather Impala's trickled in - surprisingly the first arrivals were the ladies of the SBV.

Like the weather, conversation in the SBV ran the gamut: the trials and tribulations of M&A, big white fish, small expensive fish, [fill in the blank] "buddies", weddings, gems, obscure cancers that only 3rd year Stanford medical students know how to pronounce, and how the emphasis on the big 'O' shifts to little 'o' when you start to hear the clock say "tick-tock, tick-tock". ("Say it isn't so!" the post-1975 babies in the van exclaimed!) Usual stuff ;)

Oh, ya, and the workout was great too . . . 8-14x400 + 4x200m.

Peace.

I am dying to know some things, like how Shal's house stuff is going, how Gowri's ski weekend went and who Katie is interviewing with next week. Ahhh, it's rough when I miss a carpool ride. Good thing we have book club this friday (and a track meet to watch) to catch up! It was great to see us all at the workout, I think the worse the weather the harder we run.
