Tea SBV style

Last sunday we had our first SBV tea. Many people met at my house for a pre tea run at Alum Rock Park. Next we all met up at Lisa's Tea and Treasures in santana row for tea. While enjoying our tea and treats we talked about our book of the month "Leap of Faith" by Queen Noor.

Now for our next book or books...
Since we have two months (next book club to be in mid to late august) looks like we have two books, read both or one, they are related so read both if possible. The following books and info on where to get them:

SBV doctor number 2

Today is graduation day at the Stanford medical school which means we now offically have a second doctor in the house (or van!). Congrats to Megan or should I say Dr. Daly. Today is full of celebrations for the big day, hopefully we'll have some good pics to post after the festivities.

Our new south bay member

Welcome to our newest south bay member, Bentley the golden retriever! We welcomed Bentley into our home last week, he is 9 weeks old and very excited to be living in the SB. He wishes he was a girl so he could be a real impala but still looks forward to helping us train when he gets old enough to go on long trail runs. He hopes to complete his first marathon is 2009 when he will be 3 and much more mature. Right now his favorite thing is chewing anything that he can find!
